Beginning
I started woodworking in 2001, I have tivo and Norm Abrams to thank for my hobby. Near the end of 2000 I acquired a tivo. A tivo is a digital vcr with intelligence. Armed with my new tivo, I ordered it to record any episodes of the New Yankee Workshop it could find. Well it found a lot of episodes. In fact I think it found every single episode ever made in about 3 months. Between HGTV reruns and my local PBS stations I had at least 1 episode every day.
Now I had a urge to build something, but my tool collection consisted
of a circular saw and a cordless drill. I had just seen every New
Yankee episode so I was sure Norm used a few more tools than that, even
for the simple projects. Lacking the tools I used the next best thing,
someone elses tools! In fact I took a class a Orange Coast Community
College. That hooked me and I have been working on woodworking ever
since
Publishers that I find usefull.
